Finding your iOS Device IP address and MAC Address
- From the Home screen on your iPhone, navigate to Settings -> WiFi
If an app isn't available on your Home screen, swipe left to access the App Library. - Connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
- Scroll to the blue lowercase "i", next to the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to currently.
- Scroll down to the IP Address field and note this as your IP address.
- The Wi-Fi Address is your MAC address
- Please note: You may be asked to uncheck the private Wi-Fi address box in order for operations/support to properly assist with any incidents. This change will only affect the currently connected network.
- Mac addresses are most commonly found in a dual digit sequence with [:] or [-] in between. E8:78:65:3F:EB:5D is an example of a typical Mac Address format.

Android
Finding your Android Device’s IP and MAC Address
You can find your Android devices IP and MAC address by following these instructions:
- From the Home screen on your Android device, navigate to the Settings menu.
- Click on the Connections menu at the top.
- Under the WiFi menu, find the name of the network connected to and select the settings icon located on the right of the network name to bring up the network info screen
- In the network info screen, your IP will be displayed under the IP address
Note: Select “view more” or “show more options” to see the MAC and IP address fields. - Scroll down to MAC Address and IP address for both to reference.
Support Note: For testing and support purposes, you may be asked to switch your MAC address type to “Use Device MAC Address” so that we have a consistent device MAC address to better track an affected device during an incident.
(This will only be set on the currently connected network)
